Although the teen went onto defend herself saying that ‘slut-shaming’ was not her intention, Kardashian seemed not to be phased by all the backlash responded to Moretz, Midler and Morgan with witty tweets.

Kardashian also confronted Morgan’s tweet claiming his offer to buy her clothes disrespectful and also brought to light that Midler had tried to be friends with the reality star.

As well as calling into question the various celebrity tweets Kardashian also continued to appear unphased, tweeting an old image of herself laughing with the caption
 ‘Reading my comments like....LOL’.

The following day (9th March 2016) the star went on to use the chance to promote some of her kimoji’s such as one featuring the star drinking tea referencing the contemporary phrase ‘sipping tea’ defined on urban dictionary as  ‘shrewdly taking part in verbal disclosure
'in context of gossip or rumors about a celebrity…'
The listener quietly sips tea as they drink in the information’ (2014 [x]).

Kardashian also posted another nude image of herself from a photo shoot with the caption ‘#liberated’.
By doing this, Kim Kardashian showed her not just her wit but also her business and entrepreneurial abilities to defend herself against various backlash.

Furthermore, the controversy didn’t stop there, three weeks after Kim Kardashian first posted her nude selfie the star alongside friend and model Emily Ratajkowski posted another nude selfie. The two stars posed in a similar way to the original caption with Kardashian captioning hers
‘When we're like...we both have nothing to wear LOL @emrata’
the image gained a combined number of nearly 200k likes on twitter alone.
Whereas Kardashian’s caption was styled very similarly to the original image Ratajkowski’s caption showed her anger towards the situation as a whole
‘However sexual our bodies may be, we need to hve the freedom as women to choose whn & how we express our sexuality.’

By posting this image weeks after the original showed Kardashian’s ability to keep the media and general public talking.

However, this was not the first time Kim Kardashian was heavily criticised for her body, her career kick-started after a sex tape was leaked without her permission in 2003. Radell Smith (2011) claims that
‘from there Kardashian took on an ever-expanding range of promotional and licensing opportunities, building a successful brand
